# BidOps — Extended description ## What BidOps is BidOps is a written, asynchronous RFP (request-for-proposal) diagnostic service for consulting firms operating in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). It is not a SaaS tool to roll out and not a proposal-writing agency that sells workshops and calls. It is an artifact-first process: a firm sends a sanitized tender document or excerpt by email, and receives a set of written, exportable analysis artifacts. The core insight BidOps sells is **chain thinking**. A single missing item in a tender is rarely fatal on its own. The danger is when items combine: missing certificate -> no owner -> deadline conflict -> non-compliance -> bid rejection BidOps reads these chains, then computes a **bid cut-set**: the smallest set of interventions that breaks the most dangerous rejection paths. The customer does not get "here are 27 problems"; they get "here are the 3 things to fix first, and this is the chain each one breaks". ## Who it is for - Consulting firms that regularly respond to RFPs and public procurement. - Firms without a dedicated proposal manager or a large bid apparatus. - Teams that want faster, more structured delivery without losing quality. - Organisations active in DE / AT / CH, public procurement and private tenders. ## Who it is NOT for - Anyone needing a legal procurement review (Vergaberecht / VgV opinion). - Anyone expecting a guaranteed win probability. - Anyone who cannot share any document. - Anyone expecting a live workshop or full proposal outsourcing by call. ## Inputs accepted RFP (PDF/DOCX), Ausschreibung, Leistungsverzeichnis (LV), Fragebogen, prior proposals, case studies, CV library, standard text modules. No system integration is required for the first diagnostic — email is enough. Larger file sets or ZIP folders can be arranged by email when needed. ## Outputs produced 1. **Compliance matrix** — every requirement with status, owner, deadline, proof source, and gate type. Excel/CSV. 2. **Risk list** — separated into isolated risks and chain risks. 3. **Bid-chain risk map** — how requirements, proofs, owners, deadlines and format rules connect into rejection or quality chains. 4. **Missing-proof list** — what evidence is absent or unclear. 5. **Questions to the buyer** — each tied to a specific gate. 6. **Answer draft (DOCX)** — track-changes-ready, assembled from the customer's own materials, sections marked by confidence / evidence source. 7. **Go / Conditional Go / No-Go** — justified via the bid chains, on the basis of: missing must-have proof; unclear owner; impossible deadline; no reference fit; high answer-generation risk; unresolved buyer question; format non-compliance. 8. **Bid cut-set** — the minimal action list before submission. ## How it works 1. Handover — the customer sends documents (and optionally 2–3 past offers or case studies as a text source). 2. Reading — BidOps extracts every must-have criterion, deadline and proof, orders them into a compliance matrix, names risks, and formulates questions. 3. Draft — the customer receives a defensible DOCX draft with a proof checklist. Everything is asynchronous, in writing, typically within ten working days for a pilot. Review is a comment round by email with track-changes. No call. ## Trust and continuity - Data export at any time, in CSV/DOCX. No lock-in. - Backups and a written, testable continuity plan with more than one operator. - Processing governed by written agreement, with defined retention/deletion periods. NDA on request. - Escrow-light (Pro plan): artifacts and templates are handed over at a defined trigger. ## Pricing (excl. The `#sample` section is the public sample-report and diagnostic entry area, and the legacy `#upload` anchor points to the same section. Browser-based file upload is intentionally not implemented during the pilot stage. Clients send sanitized RFPs or excerpts by email.
